Freshman designated hitter Caitlyn Brockway hit .538 with three home runs, seven RBIs and four runs as the Huskies posted a 3-1 record last week. The Tomball, Texas, native went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBIs and scored a run in a 5-3 win over Jackson State to open the Samford Tournament. Later that day, she went 3-for-4 with two home runs, drove in three runs and scored twice as HBU downed Samford, 6-2. In Saturday's 6-2 win over Evansville, she blasted a two-run shot in the sixth to put the game out of reach.
