Shulik had the best performance of her HBU career, placing fifth overall to help the Huskies to a runner-up finish. She clocked in at 23:17.7 on the six-kilometer course, finishing 12 seconds behind the fourth-place finisher. As a team, the Huskies finished two minutes behind host LSU.
