Sophomore guard Ian DuBose averaged 27.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists as the Huskies split a pair during the opening week of Southland Conference play. The Durham, North Carolina, native poured in a career-high 33 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and handed out six assists in Wednesday's victory over Lamar. DuBose then scored 22 points with six rebounds and two assists in Saturday's overtime loss at New Orleans. For his efforts, DuBose was named the Southland Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season.
