Junior righthander Brady Batten earned the win, leading the Huskies to a 3-2 victory in the series finale against Northwestern State Sunday in Natchitoches, La. The Bryan, Texas, native allowed two runs on four hits, struck out a career-high 10 and walked one on 121 pitches in seven innings. Batten retired the last 10 batters he faced, struck out five of the last six, including striking out the side in the seventh -- his final inning of the day.
