Forward David Caraher was selected as the Southland Conference Freshman of the Year, finishing his rookie campaign averaging 16.2 points and 7.2 rebounds. In the season finale against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Saturday, the Chapel Hill, North Carolina, native poured in 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for his fifth double-double of the year.
