Junior Danielle Spargur set a new school record in the high jump to finish fifth at the University of Houston's Howie Ryan Invitational Friday. The Norco, California, native cleared the new mark of 1.68 meters (5'6") on her second attempt, then was tied by sophomore teammate Samara Hodges, who cleared the bar on her third try.
