Freshman running back James Brown rushed 14 times for 118 yards, a touchdown and caught three passes for 39 yards in the Huskies 24-17 victory over Texas Southern Thursday. The Houston native opened HBU's final drive with a 34-yard gain, then capped it with a 33-yard touchdown run that essentially put the game away. Brown earned STATS FCS National Freshman of the Week honorable mention for his effort.
