Senior Jessica Wooten and sophomore partner Aeriel Horton, HBU's No. 1 pair, won all four of their matches this weekend at the Third Coast Classic to lead the Huskies to a 3-1 overall record. On Saturday, Wooten and Horten defeated Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 21-11, 21-19, followed by a 21-15, 21-15 win over Texas A&M-Kingsville's top pair. On Friday afternoon, they cruised past New Orleans, 21-18, 21-8, then were the only pair to win against ULM, 27-25, 21-11. Wooten and Horton are now 11-3 for the season.
