Junior centerfielder Spencer Halloran helped the Huskies take two-of-three from Fordham on opening weekend, reaching safely in 7-of-14 at-bats. The Sheffield, Iowa, native hit .455 with a double, a triple, four RBIs and five runs over the three games. Halloran led off with a double and scored, then added a sacrifice fly in the opener Saturday. In the second game of the doubleheader, he went 4-for-5 with a double, three RBIs and scored twice. In Sunday’s finale, Halloran walked twice and scored each time.
