Senior right side Ashlee Vann hit .419 for the weekend, leading the Huskies to a pair of five-set wins on the road against McNeese and Nicholls. In Saturday’s win over the Colonels, she hit .459 with a career-high 21 kills and only four errors on 37 attempts, while adding a pair of blocks. In Thursday’s victory over the Cowgirls, she hit. 378 with 17 kills and only three errors on 37 attempts, adding two blocks. Vann has recorded double-digit kills in seven of the last eight matches, including the last four.
