Junior running back Terrance Peters rushed for an HBU-record 155 yards on only 14 carries and scored two touchdowns in Saturday night’s 24-20 victory over Texas Southern. TSU took the lead for the first time with under six minutes left, but Peters answered with a 51-yard touchdown run to give the Huskies the lead for good. On the game’s opening drive, Peters started out on a sweep to the left, then reversed his field, coming all the way back to the right sideline for a 34-yard touchdown. He has rushed for 220 yards and is averaging 7.9 yards per carry through HBU’s first two games.
