Redshirt freshman Zach Carter went the distance on Sunday for his first-collegiate win on the mound as the Huskies clinched the series at Abilene Christian, 4-1. The Arlington, Texas, native scattered four hits and struck out five. Carter has a 2.45 ERA in 11 appearances, striking out 21 batters in 29.1 innings.
