Senior pitcher Laci Belovsky went 2-0 with a save in Softball's 3-1 season-opening weekend at the Sand Dollar Classic. She posted a 0.98 ERA with eight strikeouts. She registered the save against Samford, the first Husky save in two seasons. Belovsky also helped herself at the plate, hitting .385 with five hits, one double, one home run, and two RBI.
