Senior forward Monet Neal scored 12 points with five rebounds, one assist, and one block Wednesday despite playing in only 10 minutes due to foul trouble in helping HBU win in Corpus Christi for the first time in program history, 73-59 over the Islanders. She later scored a team-high 18 points - one shy of her season high of 19 at Texas Southern in early December - against Stephen F. Austin. Neal did a lot in the two games that would not show up on the stat sheet, such as causing offensive charges and running down and saving loose balls from going out of bounds. Neal has scored in double figures in five-straight games.
