Senior sprinter Lakesha Cameron finished first in the 60m prelims, running a season-best 7.72. She would finish ninth in the finals with a 7.77 clocking. After placing ninth in the 200m with a time of 25.36, the Cypress, Texas, native would help the 4x400 relay team to a first-place finish with a time of 3:54.81.
