Senior guard Anthony Odunsi averaged 23 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game in leading HBU to a 2-0 week with wins over Ecclesia (101-47) and Northwestern State (99-73). Against Ecclesia, the native of Sugar Land, Texas, led all players in scoring with 19 points, before following up in a big way in the team's Southland Conference opener. At Northwestern State, Odunsi recorded a career-high 27 points, finishing 7-for-11 from the floor with a pair of hits from distance to compliment his second straight 11-for-12 showing at the free throw line in the first conference-opening win for the Huskies as a member of the SLC. For his efforts, Odunsi was named Southland Conference Player of the Week.
