Senior Curtis Joneswas named Tournament MVP as he had four hits, four RBIs, and two runs and also tossed a complete-game shutout in the championship clincher, striking out seven while walking one. He went 3-for-5 with three RBIs and a run Thursday against Central Arkansas. He helped the Huskies win their first Southland Conference Tournament championship and earn the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
