Freshman Giorgia Carletti placed third overall and helped women's golf finish third at the South Dakota State Jackrabbit Invitational Tuesday. The Milano, Italy, native started the tournament carding a 4-under par 68 and went on to post 74 in the second and a final round of 72 to finish two-under 214 overall. She was two strokes shy of the leaders.
