Senior forward Shanice Steenholdt led all players by recording season highs of 27 points and 16 rebounds in the Huskies' first-ever win over UTEP, 87-77, Saturday. Steenholdt recorded her fourth double-double, as she shot 77 percent from the floor, 50 percent from beyond the arc, and 60 percent from the free throw line. She also registered two blocks and a season-high four assists. For her efforts, she was named College Sports Madness Southland Women's Basketball Player of the Week and earned her second Southland Conference Player of the Week award.
