McCoy extended his hitting streak to six games, hitting .625, going 10-for-16, with two home runs, a double, six RBI, and four runs in the Huskies' four games last week. McCoy recorded HBU's first five-hit game in more than three years and its first five-RBI game of the season Tuesday at Prairie View A&M. He homered twice in the game, his first two as a Husky, and added a double and three runs. He went 2-for-3 and scored a run in the second game of Friday's doubleheader at McNeese State, then finished the series by going 2-for-4 with an RBI.
