Thomas earned a silver medal, and broke a school record at the same time, in the women's long jump Feb. 28 at the Southland Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships. Her 5.85 meter/19-2.5 jump earned her silver and the Huskies' first medal of the championships, which were held in Birmingham, Ala.
