Senior outfielder Jake Gonzalez hit .500 (8-for-16) with seven RBI and three runs scored, as HBU took three of four games at NJIT to close out the regular season. Gonzalez went 3-for-6 with four RBI and a run scored in Thursday's doubleheader, then recorded an RBI in his only hit of the game Friday. In Saturday's 15-1 romp of the Highlanders, Gonzalez exploded at the plate, going 4-for-5 with four doubles, two RBI, and two runs scored. He hit two doubles in one inning. Gonzalez set new program records with doubles in a single game (4) and doubles in a career (59). He passed nine former Huskies who had three doubles in a single game and Danny Cataline (1998-2001), who had 57 career doubles. Gonzalez ranks third all-time with 231 hits, is tied for fourth with 12 triples, 11th with 18 home runs, and fourth with 159 RBI.
