Tillis had a season-best in the women's 20-pound weight throw with a 15.38/50-5.5 to place eighth and take over the Great West Conference lead Friday night at the UH Indoor Invitational. She is currently second in the conference behind Jasmine Mosley of South Dakota, who had a throw of 51 feet, 0.75 inches a day later.
