Gaines led a group of four HBU women who won individual events, as the Huskies captured the women's team title Friday at the McNeese State JDB Challenge. Gaines overcame a slip at the start to power to a 7.21 in the 55-meter dash. The Huskies tallied 116 points in the women's competition to top the host Cowgirls.
