Smith scored a career-high 19 points in HBU's new year's eve loss to visiting Army, then followed that up with a career-high seven assists at Texas A&M on Jan. 3...he averaged 13.5 points per game in the two contests, shooting 56% from the floor, 56% from beyond the arc, and a perfect 100% from the line....against Army, Smith went 7-for-11 from the floor, 3-for-5 from downtown, and 2-for-2 at the line in his career night...he also added three rebounds, four assists, and two steals...against the Aggies, Smith scored eight points and grabbed four rebounds.
