Evans went 1-1 last week, with three appearances. She helped the Huskies defeat UTSA, 6-0, in the second game of the doubleheader; the Huskies' second win over the Roadrunners this season and the first win ever in San Antonio. The shutout loss was the first for UTSA since an 8-0 defeat versus New Mexico on Mar. 25. Evans failed to get any run support in her next start against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, as the Huskies had just two hits in the game. She had a stellar 0.70 ERA on the week with just one walk and eight strikeouts.
