Russell scored a team-high 17 points and grabbed six rebounds in the Huskies' quarterfinal loss to eventual tournament runner-up NJIT on Thursday. He shot 6-for-11 from the floor and was a perfect 5-for-5 from the charity stripe. He also recorded two assists and played in a game-high 39 minutes.
