Jefferson made her return to the court count in a big way, scoring a career-high 16 points in the Huskies' quarterfinal loss to NJIT on Thursday. She had missed the previous two games due to injury. She played in a game-high 38 minutes against the Highlanders and shot 6-for-11 from the floor and was 2-for-4 from beyond the arc. She also recorded two assists and was tied for the game high of three steals.
