Westerterp was a four-time All-American for the Huskies, an All-National Tournament player in 2003, the Region Freshman of the Year in 2003, the Region Player of the Year in 2006, the Region Front Row Specialist of the Year in 2006, a two-time Conference Player of the Year, and a two-time Front Row Specialist of the Year. Westerterp holds the record for highest attack percentage in a game with a 92.3% against Huston-Tillotson in 2003. In 2004, Westerterp had 558 kills, 114 solo blocks, 149 assisted blocks, and 87 service aces. She is the career leader in kills with 1,954, career leader in blocks solo with 345, the career leader in blocks assisted with 496, and has the third most career service aces with 212.
