Ken earned All-America honors in 1982 by tying for eighth at the NCAA Championships on the historic Pinehurst No. 2 golf course. He claimed six individual victories at HBU, including the Trans-America Athletic Conference title in 1982. He finished as the runner-up in 1981 and earned all-TAAC honors three times. Kelley continued to play professionally on the PGA Tour from 1983-85.
