Hill was an All-American for the Huskies in 1999, an All-Sectional Tournament player in 1998, the Most Valuable Player in 1998, and the Golden Glove winner in 1999. In the 1999 season, he played in 60 games and had 21 doubles, 12 home runs, 37 base on balls, 58 runs batted in, and scored 67 runs. Hill is eighth in career home runs with 23.
