Owens was an Academic All-American Scholar-Athlete in 1999-00 for the Huskies. She has the fourth highest point total from a single person in a game in school history with 35 points against Concordia on Dec. 11, 1999. In her one season with HBU, Owens had 509 points, 106 made three point field goals, and shot 45.7% beyond the arch. She also shot 82.4% from the free throw line. She has the twelfth highest career field goal percentage at 47.6%, the thirteenth highest three point field goals made in a career with 106, the highest three point field goal percentage in a career at 45.7%, and the highest career free throw percentage at 82.4%.
