Curtis was an All-American for the Huskies in 1996, an Academic All-Region/District/Conference in 1997, and was the Offensive Player of the Year in 1997. In the 1996 season, he had 13 home runs and 59 runs batted in. Curtis is in the .300 club with a career .328 batting average. He is fifth in career home runs with 25, and is tied for fifth in career runs batted in with 134.
