Sanders was an All-Region player for the Huskies in 1994-95, an Academic All-American in 1994-95, a four-time Academic All-Region/All-Conference, and a two-time Scholar-Athlete award winner. He was the two-time assist leader for the team, is part of the 1,000 point club, is part of the 30 point club, and is tied for the most three pointers made in a single-game with 8 against Texas Tech on Nov. 29, 1994. In the 1994-95 season, he made 91 three pointers, and shot 40.99% from beyond the arc. He also shot 84.7% from the free throw line that year. Sanders is thirteenth in career points with 1,321, has the second most career three point field goals made with 287, the second most career assists with 570, and the ninth most career steals with 150.
